Basque Ecodesign Meeting
On 26 of July in Bilbao, the Basque Eco-design Meeting was launched; one of the largest Eco-Design conferences in Europe which assembled industrial product design specialists throughout all Europe to analyse the implications involved in the transition to a circular economic model for industry in Europe, foster participation in the debate about business opportunities and the improvement of business competiveness which this model offers.
On the second day of the Conference, the SMEs from the Basque Country promised to make Eco-Design one of their top priorities and A&B was invited to participate in one of the organized round tables to discuss and debate the success of the Eco-Design model.
The event also featured an exhibition: “20 años de Ecodiseño Made in Euskadi” (“20 years of Eco-Design Made in Euskadi”) where A&B displayed its latest Eco-design products along with 97 companies.
The Conference concluded on 28 July with the successful participation of over 850 visitors and 134 lecturers.
