A&B actions in the decarbonization field earn a prestigious award
Euskalit has awarded both A&B Laboratorios de Biotecnología and OSI Ezkerraldea Enkarterri Cruces for their good practices on Climate neutrality, decarbonization and energy transition; and both firms shall be the Basque candidates for the 2023 CEX Award, organised by the Excellence Centres in the State.
In the case of A&B, Euskalit has granted this award due to the experience focused on the Eco-Design of the eco-solvents product range as the basic methodology to promote decarbonization, since it considers all the stages of the product’s life cycle.
These good practices are based on 6 actions linked to several of these stages; ranging from design, raw materials, manufacturing, distribution, usage and recycling or reuse.
A Jury comprised by members from the Trustee Board of EUSKALIT, ITP Aero, EVE-Ente Vasco de la energía [Basque Energy Firm] and Mutualia, with special collaboration from Ihobe-Sociedad Pública de Gestión ambiental [Public Environmental Management Corporation] were the parties in charge of selecting the winning practices where they assessed the novelty and coherence with the Corporate Strategy and their results.
